Background Anne achieved a degree in Psychology followed by a PGCE at Greenwich University. She began teaching science and computing in mainstream schools in London in 1994. In 2001- 2003 whilst teaching, she also lectured in computing in a London college. In 2002 she moved into alternative education where she was appointed as a computing teacher, then one year later Deputy Head. In 2007 Anne moved into hospital education and worked for Wandsworth Hospital and Home Tuition Service. In 2013 she became the Headteacher of Evelina Hospital School

Evelina Hospital School provides education into Evelina London Children’s Hospital (ELCH) which is part of Guys and St Thomas’ Trust. The school is based in the atrium of the ELCH which is overlooked by the patients. The staff team consists of teachers and support staff who are specialists in providing flexible personalised education to pupils. The school mainly provides education for pupils aged 2- 19, of all abilities who are in-patients, however there is a small provision for out-patients and siblings.
